What is being sited here
Energy and data-center projects on record in Navarro and Hill counties. Every figure below is followed by the record it came from and the date that record was read. This page reports what public records say about these projects. It takes no position on any of them.
Most of what follows holds a position in ERCOT's interconnection queue. A queue position is a request to connect to the grid: it is not a permit, and it is not a construction start. Each project's stage is given in ERCOT's own words rather than summarized, and ERCOT's own abbreviations are: SS, the security screening study; FIS, the full interconnection study; IA, the interconnection agreement; POI, the point of interconnection; COD, the commercial operation date.
Three separate public records were searched, because no one of them holds everything: the ERCOT generation queue, the Commissioners Court records of both counties, and municipal records. A data center draws power rather than generating it, so it does not enter the generation queue at all — unless it builds its own power plant, in which case the plant enters the queue under the data center company's name.
Data centers, and the generation built for them
A data center is electrical load, not generation. Where one builds its own power plant, that plant holds the queue position and the data center company is named as the interconnecting entity.

The option tract is 64.10 acres in the J.H. Chism Survey A-129, Hill CAD parcel 135551, near Malone. The 30.660-acre exception in the underlying option is the substation — Hill CAD parcel 454776, owner Lone Star Transmission LLC, situs 3081 FM 308.

The project's location is not established. The complaint states the site is unincorporated with no extraterritorial jurisdiction; no release petition exists in Hillsboro's own records; and the coordinates carried in trade press resolve to Katy Lake itself on the Hill CAD parcel layer.
The complaint withholds the four landowners' names and any legal description. They are named only in sealed exhibits.
RCM Hill, LLC has no recorded instrument of any kind in the Hill County Clerk index under any name.
