Historic maps

Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps were drawn town by town for fire-insurance underwriters, block by block and building by building, and revised every few years as a town grew or shrank. They are public domain. Five Blackland towns are here, from the Library of Congress: Blooming Grove, Frost, Hubbard, Kerens and Rice, the earliest sheet from 1888 and the latest from 1935.
