What the file shows

Jonathan Richardson held a Mercer Colony certificate issued by the Navarro County district court in December 1855 or 1856. G. H. Cunningham applied in February 1857 to locate 320 acres of it in the north of the county, about 9 1/2 miles northwest of Corsicana, and deputy surveyor Milton Wright ran the lines on Chambers and Brier creeks in March 1857. The patent issued to Cunningham as assignee on 18 May 1859.
