Montfort

Navarro County, Texas

Montfort sits on Farm Road 636, eleven miles northeast of Corsicana in northeastern Navarro County. It was established in the late 1890s; its post office ran from 1896 to 1904. Population was about fifteen by 1936, and its school consolidated into Roane's, also on this list, after the Second World War.
