Long Prairie
Navarro County, Texas
On Farm Road 309, five miles south of Kerens, Long Prairie was established before 1900; its school enrolled thirty-seven students by 1906. The mid-1930s community held two churches, a cemetery and a number of houses. Its school consolidated into Round Prairie's and later Kerens's, and by the mid-1960s only a church, a cemetery and a few scattered houses were left.
