Elm Flat

Navarro County, Texas

Elm Flat sits on Farm Road 633, nine miles southeast of Corsicana in southeastern Navarro County. It formed in the late 1870s; by 1906 it had two schools, forty white and fifty-three Black students, and it peaked in the early 1930s. It is now a dispersed rural community.
