Carl

Navarro County, Texas

Six miles north of Corsicana on the Houston and Texas Central line, Carl was a rail stop founded before 1900, with a depot, a few stores and several houses by the mid-1930s. It emptied after the Second World War and was gone from the highway maps by the 1960s; a few scattered houses were all that remained by 1990.
