Board
Navarro County, Texas
On Board Creek, three miles south of Pursley, Board was probably established in the early 1880s. Its post office opened in 1886 and its school enrolled eighty-eight students in 1906. The post office closed in 1904, and the settlement was off the highway maps by the mid-1930s.
