Black Hills
Navarro County, Texas
Black Hills sits on Farm Road 1839, eight miles northwest of Corsicana in north central Navarro County. It was probably settled before 1900; by 1906 its school had two teachers and eighty-nine students. It peaked before the First World War with a gin, a store and a church, then declined through the 1920s. Population has held at about eighty since 2000.
